Mastering. An objective perspective.

When we create a master recording, how do we know that we’ve finally arrived at the best sounding version humanly (or robotically) possible?

Well we don’t. Because everyone hears differently and listens in different environments, through different systems, on different streaming platforms, at different volumes, with different levels of attention…And our musical tastes change over time.

So then, what should we expect from a mastering engineer?

An objective perspective. A fan of music and sound, who knows their tools well and wants your song to have the maximum emotional impact on its listeners.
